No. EdFlow sits on top of your existing SIS (PeopleSoft, Banner, or Workday). The SIS stays the system of record. EdFlow agents do the routine workflow work and write results back into the SIS as structured rows (exceptions, overrides, status changes).

Yes. Every agent action is recorded in an append-only audit log with the actor (agent or human reviewer), the decision path, the affected student records, and the outcome. The audit log is designed to satisfy FERPA audit requirements and US Department of Education review.

PeopleSoft, Banner, and Workday. EdFlow is SIS-agnostic - the integration substrate was built at Stellic and supports the major higher-education SIS platforms.

Do high-stakes decisions get auto-completed?

Accepted Answer

No. A built-in auditor scores the stakes of each action. High-stakes actions (graduation eligibility, transcript holds, anything that materially changes a student's degree progress) pause for a human reviewer to sign off before the SIS write-back happens. Low-stakes routine actions auto-complete.
